All shipments are made through the US postal service or UPS.
Most collections will be processed in less than 3 days, once we receive your shipment. Larger orders (i.e. over 200 CDs) may take longer depending upon our workload. In some cases, CD collections with many obscure or unusual title searches may have an impact on project grooming & completion times.
Yes. Ripit Good abides by all copyright laws and expects our customers to do the same. Generally, if you have purchased copyrighted materials such as a music CD, you have the right to create a copy of that material for your own personal use. Once the conversion process is complete, Ripit Good will return your collection in the same order as you sent them to us so you can easily return them to their jewel cases.

For the best balance between file size and sound quality for both home stereo and portable MP3 player use, MP3 files at 128kbps or 192kbps is the best choice. By selecting a lower bitrate, you are able to maintain CD sound quality, while at the same time, maximize the storage space needed to hold the collection. For this reason, 128kbps and 192kbps are very popular bit -rates for MP3 files.
Ripit Good uses the latest in CD conversion hardware and programming to accurately convert your CDs. The MP3 format is the most universal file format and our best recommendation, but we can also convert your music to other popular formats like WMA, AAC, FLAC, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WMA and more.
Ripit Good organizes your music library by artist, album and track list. This organizational information is included in both ID3 tags within every file as well as within the file names themselves.
Ripit Good offers the following bitrates: 128kbps (kilo-bits per second), 192kbps, 256kbps,and 320kbps. . In general, selecting a bit-rate is typically determined (1) by the amount of storage available and (2) how it will be used. The bigger the bitrate, the higher the sound quality and overall size of the compressed file.
Ripit Good’s conversion process is able to check for any errors that may occur during the automated process. If there are any scratches in your disc that result in an audible skip, Ripit Good will try to fix the error by cleaning the CD and reprocessing it. If the error cannot be fixed by a surface cleaning, we will resurface the disc with the SkipDR™ scratch repair device. If the disc is too badly damaged and cannot be resurfaced, we will be unable to encode the disc properly without errors and will recommend replacement.
Yes. MP3 is the universal standard for all players and related digital music devices. iTunes will see the MP3s and treat it just like its own file format. That is why Ripit Good recommends the MP3 file format above all others – because it will work on virtually any digital audio device.
Yes, we embed album cover art into each of mp3 tracks of your collection. Cover art is one of the more visceral reasons why you bought CDs in the first place, and albums before it! Now you can have your cake and eat it too!
No. Ripit Good will return all of your CDs along with every copy of them that was generated by the process. You may choose to make as many copies of your CD as you’d like, but Ripit Good cannot keep or store these copies for you.
