How It Works
1. Place Your Order
Ripit Good offers you two package options to choose from - a Standard Archive Package and our Pre-Loaded iPod Packages. You can use our automated website to select a package and to enter the number of CDs you'd like to convert, or simply call us toll free at (888) RIPIT-CD - we'll be happy to walk you through the process. We'll send all the packing and shipping supplies needed for you to send us your CD collection. CDs are shipped on protective spindles. After packing your materials, simply drop them off at a UPS shipping location or call UPS to arrange for pickup. FAQ’s
2. We Convert Your CDs
Upon receipt of your collection, we carefully unpack the contents and start our automated archival process. First your CDs are professionally cleaned. Then, using state of the art equipment and the latest in encoding software, our technicians go to work to produce the highest quality transformation from CD to the digital format of your choosing. Once the conversion is complete, Ripit Good will create your music archive on a DVD (each DVD holds approximately 60 – 80 CDs). If you have ordered one of our pre-loaded iPod packages, we will also load your music onto a brand new IPOD for ‘open & play’ portability of your music collection. FAQ’s
3. Enjoy Your Digital Archive!
Ripit Good takes great care with your music collection. Once your collection is converted, your CDs are safely returned to you along with high capacity DVD copies of your new digital music archive, and a printed catalog of your music collection. DVDs are then (1) easily copied onto your computer's hard drive, (2) played in MP3-enabled home stereo equipment, or (3) downloaded onto a portable MP3 player equipment so you can enjoy your music whether you are home or away without fumbling through a pile of clumsy CDs.
